#154 Shed your layers

It’s Monday and after a great day of rest for many it’s the perfect opportunity to get out into the world and build your dream.

Say goodbye to the old you as you begin to fill the shoes of the person you are trying to be. Accept you are at this moment while knowing there is always room for improvement.

Just like a snake has to shed its skin, we too need to make room for our future selves by choosing good habits and eschewing the bad. In the book The Champion’s Mind by Jim Afremow, he refers to it as “feeding the good wolf” which means indulging in reading, working, resting and anything that helps push you towards your goals rather than take away.
