#156 Election Day or week?

It’s November 4th and Election Day has past… Not really as they are still counting ballots which may take up until next week some say. A peculiar thing as the election is usually decided on that day.

In any case, many people are experiencing emotional highs or lows, concluding that their future’s stake is decided by the outcome. While there may be truth to that, something that can never be underestimated is our will to carry on regardless of any circumstances.

While politicians, the media and even some of your friends may like you to believe that your fate rests in the hands of a single person or group of people. Something that humans continually demonstrate is the resilience to overcome any challenge.

Recognize that the person whose decisions we have control over is ourselves and as the adage goes “when there is a will there is a way”. Keep fighting, don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t achieve. And remember hard times create strong members of society who go on to do great things!
